These are indicative market ranges to help you budget, not a quotation. A site survey is needed for a firm price, because the condition of the concrete changes the cost.

Typical epoxy flooring price

Singapore pricing guides for 2026 put installed epoxy flooring at roughly S$4 to S$12 per sq ft. Thin roller coatings sit at the lower end; thicker self-levelling, decorative and heavy-duty systems sit higher.

SystemWhere it sits in the rangeBest for
Epoxy coating (roller-applied)LowerStorerooms, garages, light-traffic areas
Self-levelling epoxyMiddleShowrooms, offices, clean areas
Anti-slip epoxyMiddleKitchens, wet areas, ramps
Decorative: metallic or flakeUpperRetail, homes, feature floors
Heavy-duty or mortar epoxyUpperFactories, forklift routes

Extras that change the price

  • Removing old tiles or flooring. Hacking and disposing of an existing hard floor is commonly quoted at around S$3 to S$8 per sq ft on top of the epoxy.
  • Screeding. Re-levelling an uneven slab adds roughly S$1 to S$3 per sq ft.
  • Crack and moisture repair. Damp or cracked concrete needs repair and sometimes a moisture-tolerant primer.
  • Small areas. Very small jobs often have a minimum charge, so the per-sq-ft price rises.
  • Working hours. Night or weekend work for shops, kitchens and warehouses costs more than daytime access.
  • Finish options. Anti-slip aggregate, flakes, metallic pigments and line marking add to the base price.

Example budgets

Using the S$4–S$12 per sq ft range for the epoxy itself, before GST and before any hacking or screeding:

AreaIndicative epoxy cost
300 sq ft (home kitchen, small shop)S$1,200–S$3,600, often subject to a minimum charge
1,000 sq ft (showroom, workshop)S$4,000–S$12,000
5,000 sq ft (warehouse)S$20,000–S$60,000

Larger areas usually land toward the lower end per sq ft.

How to compare epoxy quotations

  1. Check the system and thickness are stated, not just “epoxy”.
  2. Check what surface preparation is included: grinding, crack repair, primer.
  3. Check whether removing existing tiles or coatings is included.
  4. Ask about curing time and when the floor can take foot traffic and vehicles.
  5. Ask what the warranty covers.

Published Singapore guides put installed epoxy at roughly S$4 to S$12 per sq ft, depending on the system and the floor’s condition.

Epoxy is often comparable to or cheaper than tiling for large areas, especially where the existing slab can be prepared without hacking.

With good surface preparation, a commercial epoxy floor commonly lasts several years. Heavy traffic wears it faster; thicker systems last longer.

Typically light foot traffic after about 24 hours and vehicles after about three days, depending on the product.
